Recent Publications

My most recent short story “The Crooked Tree of Algrüsti” is featured in This Is Your Bike on Plants: Fantastical Feminist Stories of Bicycling, Gardens, and Growth.

My most recent book, Bloemetje: a speculative retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's Thumbelina fairy tale, is available internationally as an ebook, paperback, and hardcover.

Needle felting looks intimidating. If it’s a funky light, I’m buying it! 💸 Pay What You Can ✨ New sticker line just in time for Small Business Saturday! ✨ Found this hand-embroidered rooster at a yard sale and couldn’t leave him behind 🐓💛 I’ve been submitting poems for years. Sometimes doubting, sometimes resting, but always returning. This acceptance means the world to me. Not just because it’s a win, but because it’s proof that quiet persistence works. What I’ve been up to the last two days: crafting in the backyard among the leaves, snuggling Jingles the cat, and soaking in the slow life. 🍂🐈‍⬛🪡 Some people’s boring is other people’s cozy destressing. 🌿 Sometimes the world feels like a firehouse directed right at your face. And we’re all under constant pressure to add to that water flow.
